OTC Favorites-draft

No fuss necessities

This page has been a long time coming.. I worked in dermatology from 2014-2023, during this time I was able to sample a ton of different over the counter skin care products. This is a list of my current favorites that have also worked for several of my friends and family throughout the years. Each item includes an Amazon Affiliate link that will earn me a commission if you use this link to purchase. These items can also be sometimes found at Target and Walgreens.

I would describe my routine as low maintenance, no fuss necessities.

Having access to samples and coupons has led me to try many things and develop a good radar of price to quailty to feel good about the quailty I’m getting compared to similar products. With that being said some of things may seem expensive to the bargin buyer but I swear by them. I will say the first item, Vanicream Facial wash, is the #1 item to try out. It can be found for $8-13 a bottle but even if it cost three times that I would probably pay.

Anywho.. I hope you try this stuff out and it works for you.

My MVP! You haven’t felt your face clean until you have wash it with Vanicream Facial Cleanser. This stuff is the best. I can’t believe how cheap it is, everyday I am grateful. This is the first item my friends and family try from me and get hooked. So well priced that I use it to wash my whole body. Gentle yet effective.

I have been using Vichy for about 6-9 months thanks to a lot of samples. I will say it is on the pricer side for the realm I like to stay in but honestly is 2024, everything is expensive and having a great face moisterzer is important for me considering I model and I’m used to having a very clear face anyway. I’m nearing my end of my samples and Ty started using it when he was over my house and has fallen in love with it and purchased it. Neutrogena has a simlar formula that I used prior but have not restocked. I’m curious to see purchase a large bottle of Vichy and see how long I can make it last. The formula is ultra hydrating so a little goes a long way, however I do prefer to let the first layer dry for 20 seconds then reapply. I also use this on down to neck.
